  • Christian Character Curriculum

Twelve Christian character qualities in an outline format are taught with definitions, memory verses, Bible lessons and games.  We suggest using this for children from 5 to 12 years old.  This curriculum can be used for children's programs during adult Bible studies, Sunday evening programs and anytime a particular quality such as endurance, patience, timeliness, courage, sincerity, purity, frugality, etc.  wants to be taught.

Each volume is only $12.50 and has between 13 and 19 character qualities.  Each character quality is researched in Scripture, a practical definition is given, a visualized Bible verse is presented (which can be colored), and there are numerous fun activities where the character trait is played out.  We have a "character work" sheet where each student can show how they demonstrated this particular character quality.

The versatility of these volumes (non-consumable, non-dated and multiple ages) make it a teacher's dream come true.  You can use them in Sunday School, Children's Church, special activities and Children's Church.

  • Daily Family Devotions Guides

This three-volume study guide (easily fitting into your Bible) will take you through the entire Westminster Shorter Catechism in a family devotion format.

  • Advent Series

Jesus' Family Tree- The Story of Redemption

The advent of God on earth comes alive with these colorful lessons from the Old and New Testaments which point to the coming appearance of God with man.  These lessons can be used in Sunday School on the four Sundays leading up to Christmas. The craft is building a Jesse Tree of Biblical events pointing to the incarnation of Christ. A coloring book developed to accompany the Jesus' Family Tree Advent Family Devotions may be used with these lessons.

    Jesus Family Tree Advent Devotions

We expanded the Advent Series into 32 lessons to cover the entire Advent season.  These colorful lessons are designed to be used for daily family devotions during the Advent of Christ from the last Sunday in November through Christmas Day.

  • Heroes of the Reformation

Children's Ministry International (CMI) has revised and colorized its "Heroes of the Reformation" booklet with colorized pictures of the lives of 10 of the great Reformers from John Wycliffe to Jonathan Edwards. We have also added new crafts and other information to make this edition a "new work".

As many of you know, Martin Luther was an Augustinian monk who realized in his study of the Scriptures that man is saved by faith alone through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ alone.  The Roman church during this time taught another doctrine of salvation.  Luther was "kidnapped" by his friends and hidden in order to protect him from the existing church.  During his hiding, Luther translated the New Testament into German for the common person.  Until then only Latin translations were available.

This booklet is an ideal selection for those churches celebrating Reformation Day, October 31st or the weeks leading up to it.  Like all of our lessons, these are reusable.  You can take the month of October to look at these lives each week or concentrate it for a great Reformation Day celebration.

Now you can teach your children your Reformation Christian Heritage by examining the lives of these great Reformers.  One of the appendices has suggestions on how to have a Reformation Party at your church.

  • It Is Finished- Easter Series

Easter Reformed Sunday School/Children's Church Lessons for Kids - Reusable

How should your church celebrate Easter?

Many say "we celebrate Christ's Resurrection every Sunday" therefore, there is no need to do anything else. Others celebrate Lent from Ash Wednesday through Palm Sunday, on to Easter morning. Children's Ministry International (CMI) has a wonderful series entitled, "IT IS FINISHED" that allows your church or home to have as many as four, 45 minute lessons that cover all the major themes around Easter.

The major themes of Easter are:

    • Jesus' calling to go to Jerusalem
    • His triumphant entry on a donkey to Jerusalem
    • His last days in the temple
    • His Betrayal
    • The Last Supper
    • Jesus' prayers and arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane
    • His trial
    • His time before Pilate
    • His Crucifixion
    • His Burial
    • His Resurrection
    • Jesus' Ascension to Heaven

That's a lot to cover in four weeks! But many churches only have Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday to teach these concepts and modify the series to "fit" into their schedule.

Here are some other "extras" you'll find in the "IT IS FINISHED" booklet:

Crafts to help our covenant children actually learn key verses colorful hold-up stories (not flannelboard). Coloring book for the children that will reinforce everything they learn.

  • Membership in God's Church

This 15 lesson book (show table of contents) with about 10-15 pages per chapter, will be ideal for new membership classes, any Sunday School Class that wishes to show the basic doctrine of the biblical, Reformed Presbyterian church.  Each chapter lends itself nicely to one or two weeks of classes.

The cost is only $29 for a resource you will use over and over again.  Just imagine, the basic truths of our Christian beliefs laid out in an easy to follow manner using the Shorter Catechism of the Westminster Confession of Faith.

As you study the titles of each lesson you will agree that these topics are essential for any Christian to know.  Sadly, they are often never mentioned for new members.

  • Telling His Story

This book tells the mission of the church in four lessons, complete with flannelboard visuals. The children learn that they, as well as all believers, are to be missionaries. That is, they are to tell others about Jesus. This mini-series is great for teaching at missions conferences.

  • The Covenant Road: A Journey Through the Bible

Have you ever wanted the most popular Bible stories from the New and Old Testament ready to be taught to preschoolers, that you can use over and over again with songs and crafts available? All Christian parents and teachers want their covenant children to be VERY familiar with the Bible. We have picked out the best known stories throughout the Bible that every child should be familiar with. This is a series for pre-school students (although you can use the stories for kids of all ages). Volumes One and Two are on the stories from the Old Testament in chronological order. Volume Three covers Bible stories from the New Testament.

Each of the Three Volumes have 13 to 14 lessons covering well known Bible stories showing the child how God has ministered to His people starting in Genesis. Starting with creation in volume one to Paul's missionary journeys in volume three now you can have these stories ready to be taught in a Sunday School class, Children's Church, Sunday Evening, Wednesday Evening or Bible Club setting. CMI's materials are reusable, memory oriented and can be used with multiple ages. Each volume has a song CD with it, crafts for each lesson and a supplemental coloring book (extra charge). Kids love to sing and the CD makes learning memory verses for each story that much easier. So as the children are learning about the Bible they can be memorizing Bible verses, learning Bible Memory Songs and doing crafts that aid them in the retention of the story.

These colorful lessons are designed to be taught in one session. Your young children should be familiar with God's redemptive plan in the Bible. Jesus is mentioned throughout the three volumes as the coming Messiah, the Great Redeemer and Savior. In volume 3, much of it is devoted to the life of Jesus.

  • The Family of God

A Bible lesson showing our position in God's family, from Adam and Eve to our salvation in Jesus Christ.  This lesson, complete with flannelboard visuals, is taken from our Series D, "How Can I Know I Will Live Forever?"

  • The First Missionary

This gospel presentation stresses the great gulf that man's sin has put between himself and God and theat the cross of Christ bridges the gulf to bring us to salvation.

  • The Holiday Series

All of our Holidays can be celebrated with a Christian response to the theme or person honored. Your kids will love to know why this day is important and how related biblical themes correspond to the meaning of the day.

CMI has taken all the holidays we celebrate and put them into three volumes of lessons.  Each lesson is designed to be taught in one 45 minute lesson, but there is enough material to do more if you desire. This can be done in a Sunday School environment or at home. Each Holiday has a memory verse, background of the day or why we are celebrating it, Bible lesson, craft and song CD. All of this for only $21.00. All of the hold-up visuals are in color.

  • God's Wonderful Flower: T.U.L.I.P

Teaching Reformed Theology to Kids.  These lessons are meant to be taught for 12 weeks of Sunday School classes.  Like all CMI material, you can expand or contract the lessons as you deem necessary.

The contents page of each lesson contains a Theme, Biblical Teaching, Memory Verse, Review, and  Music section.  A Craft section is added in the last two lessons.  Each is explained below:

    • The Theme presents the subject matter to be taught.
    • Biblical Teaching expands on the lesson title and theme of that particular lesson using Scripture.
    • The Memory Verse anchors the students in the subject at hand.  To help students memorize, we provide suggestions for playing games, using hand motions, and in some cases using a Memory Verse song from the Song CD to reinforce learning. The appendix contains a coloring page for each verse and patterns to make memory verse cards for each child.  Taking the memory verse cards home will help parents know what their children are learning and will be a handy review tool.
    • The Review provides questions and answers about each lesson's topic to see how well students are learning the material.  We suggest various games to give students a chance to compete in answering the questions.
    • Music based on some of the memory verses an suggested hymns reinforce principles the children learn.
    • A Craft in the last two lessons gives children something tangible they can take with them to remember TULIP.
    • A song CD is included, with children singing, that can be used as you teach.

To help the teacher with these lessons and include parents in the leaning process, we include a Parent's Guide that children can take home.
