1. Three Volume Holiday Series

Happy New YearWe at Children's Ministry International trust your Christmas celebrations will be Christ honoring and special this year in spite of the economic downturn.  Many of you are enjoying our "Jesus Family Tree Advent Series," one designed for the church and the other for the home. Starting with the New Year celebrations, try using our Holiday Series #1.  Some of you have it already and are enjoying bringing new meaning to each special day of the year.

Happy Valentine's DayIn II Corinthians 10:21 Paul tells us "that whether you eat, or drink or whatever you do, do it all to the glory of God". How often do we simply take the time off on these special holidays or go through symbolic rituals without ever thinking of what the Bible might have to say about what we are doing. There are biblical truths that these days symbolize, and we can edify the days by celebrating them to the Glory of God.

Happy President's DayOur children are already interested in them from a historical point of view. Some of them, such as, Saint Patrick's Day and Valentines Day have been eclipsed by the revelry, lust and passion of the world so that we miss the origins of those days. Saint Patrick was a great evangelist who almost single-handedly brought the Gospel to Ireland from England. Saint Valentine was martyred for his belief in Christ. Help us redeem these special events by looking at them in our churches and homes in a way that brings to life biblical faith and character.

Happy St. Patrick's DaySome of our holidays have an obvious Christian theme such as Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving. But, what about the others? New Year's Day can reaffirm our standing before Christ and not be wasted in fruitless "resolutions" that mean little; July 4th can remind us of where our true freedom is (in Christ alone), President's Day can honor our rulers as Scripture states and help us understand biblical authority; Valentine's Day can offer us the possibility of looking how God has loved us first so that we might love others; and Father's and Mother's Day can have similar themes of honoring and loving our parents.

Easter HolidayCMI has taken all the holidays we celebrate and put them into three volumes of lessons. Each lesson is designed to be taught in one 45 minute lesson, but there is enough material to do more if you desire. This can be done in a Sunday School environment or at home. There is a memory verse (with a visualized coloring opportunity of the verse), the background to the holiday...be it secular or sacred, a related Bible story, a craft, lots of application and a song CD with kids singing. All of this for only $21.00. All of the hold-up visuals are in color. Visit our website for these and more of our products.

THREE VOLUMES OF HOLIDAY LESSONS

Now, all of our Holidays can be celebrated with a Christian response to the theme or person honored. Your kids will love to know why this day is important and how related biblical themes correspond to the meaning of the day.

Bible Building Blocks of the Faith

In the new year consider our "Bible Building Blocks of the Faith" catechetical/question and answer curriculum.  All of the main doctrines of the Christian faith are covered for your child (4-12 years old) using the Children's Catechism of the Westminster Confession of Faith.   Each question has a basic doctrinal question and answer, a Bible Memory verse, a song (with an accompanying CD with kid's singing), a Bible story, a review game and relevant craft.  The memorization work guarantees your child remembers these important facts---forever!
