So often the curriculum we look
at for our pre-schoolers is little more than busy work. This
DOESN'T have to be the case. Children's Ministry

this age group that could be used in your Children's Church,

Character!
CMI has a three
volume "Christian Character Curriculum"
that covers 50 character qualities found in the bible.
Each character quality has a visualized Bible verse, which can
be colored, a character chart where the child can see how they
use this character trait or where they have seen it in others.
Then there are numerous activities where this character quality
is demonstrated and acted out. Bible stories are
integrated in the lesson so the kids can see where in the Bible
this character quality is demonstrated.
There are
three volumes at $12.50 each, with approximately 15 or more character
qualities in each book. Each book can take a "progression"
with Volume One being a foundation and then the other qualities
building on it. Use Volume One for your younger students,
ages 4 to 7, and the remaining books for 6 to 12 year olds.

Training Seminars
It's never too late
to book a training seminar for
your church. There are a variety offered from "Home Devotions",
to discipline, to training children to a full blown "Covenant
Life Weekend". We also have seminars for showing teachers how
to teach effectively. Often churches combine these seminars for
a weekend taking advantage of the speaker being with them.
And what are the costs? Well, transportation from Atlanta,
lodging, which can be in a private home, and a small honorarium
(left to the discretion of the church). This is a great way to
kick off the new academic year. Not only teach and motivate
your Sunday School teachers but motivate parents to take their
job of raising Covenant Kids seriously.
