A Biblical New Year's Resolution
Children's Ministry International can help you with
a need that most families have, which would also be a God-honoring
resolution:
Family Devotions for 2006.
DAILY FAMILY DEVOTIONS GUIDES
Too
often we hear people say that this year they are going to
do "X, Y and Z" only to see their resolutions become largely
meaningless by mid-January. As Christians, our "Yes"
should be "Yes" and our "No" should be "No". Saying
we are going to do something and then failing to follow
through is wrong. Use CMI's Family Devotions Guide
to get your family going in the RIGHT direction for 2006!
If you would like to read an interesting
article about New Year Resolutions check out one written
by CMI Director Brad Winsted
These devotion guides have been made in a downsized format
to fit into your Bible and are comprehensive in that they
have prayers, songs, Bible Lessons and other materials to
take you systematically through the major truths of the
Bible (as already arranged by the Westminster Confession
of Faith). Please check out these
guides. There is also a great
article about family devotions on our web site and the
keen need to start them.
CHRISTIAN CHARACTER CURRICULUM

Also for the new year you might want to get your family
or church started in
Christian Character Qualities. The second volume
is now out and the third one is on the way. We've
taken around 50 character qualities found in the Bible and
given memory verses, stories and activities with them.
This would be an excellent way for your children to learn
how they can become patient, attentive, honest, brave, sincere
as a Christian and how these qualities were acted out in
the Bible.
On another note, our web page was temporarily out of order
over the holidays. We apologize for this disruption
and hope you were able to contact us through our toll free
phone number (888-345-4264), or email
childrensministry1@earthlink.net.
We've straightened out the problem so please order online
or get to know who we are by going to
www.childministry.com.
For the children,
Brad Winsted, Director
